I don't have the answers yet, but I have learned enough to be dangerous, and ask better questions..
Oh ho - so there were no Weapons of whatchamacallit...
According to CNN today:
A day after the chief weapons inspector Charles Duelfer delivered his Iraq Survey Group's report to the Senate, President Bush acknowledged that Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction at the time he ordered the invasion but said Saddam Hussein was "systematically gaming the system" and the world is safer because he is no longer in power.
This is me again.
Really? So there were no Weapons of Mass Something or Other, and no WMDers, and really no reason to invade Iraq?
Uh huh.
Well, there are a bunch of other countries with a lot of oil, and some nasty leaders. Now, it seems that they have found the WMDs, and they are in North Korea. But that's difficult. So in the meantime, Iran is full of not-so-nice-to-America-people. Perhaps we could just move the troops there, topple their government, put in a "democracy", and get their oil flowing westward.
Westward ho!
